Gah.

Even though the title says otherwise, I'm not feeling very mean right now, just frustrated.

~ED~ What kind of a release is this?

Doesn't ED release every Friday (on occasion, Saturday)?  When I went back to ED to look for any signs of a new update, I didn't find anything.  However, there was a party going on at the Design Notes.  I checked the DNs (Woah Titan and NW posted)...

1.4.5d Patch Part Two shows up first.  Oh, so it was a patch.  Pity.  Next...  Infernal Weapons Explained, written by Nightwraith.  That was a good post, especially the pictures (Nice work Disturbed).  If the red weapons represent the Legion shop and the blue Exile, I've got to say that in my opinion, the Exile weapons look wayyy better than the Legion ones.  Or maybe it's just my alignment loyalty messing with me again.

^ Bit of an oversized axe you got there.

Next is some more patch notes from Titan (who else does the boring work?).  And that is all that is new for me.  One more thing...

Yeah.  That huge weapon to the left.  It's EpicDuel's newest promotion.  (Rx for Destruction discussion thread here)  To get this strange-looking (purple!) club, you have to get either get a CVS gift card or an AE Upgrade card (from CVS I think). (Right now, there's a bit of confusion on whether it's a CVS gift card or an AE upgrade card, so don't get that card just yet.)  I posted on the thread asking about the stat requirements, because the stat placement is bad enough.  (Hint, hint: Infernal Slayer, Frost Destroyer, that kind of thing.)  I'm still holding on to the hope that since it's a promo that's not at the level cap, it's not gonna have any requirements...

~MQ~ Boring Farming, and what I waste my Credits on

Now, this MQ farming is the reason for the title (refer to above).  I'm farming because I want to get the Nether Hover.  I really hope it's not a useless mech because I've already sold two recently bought mechs because they were boring.  The first was the Supreme Master mecha, from Yokai.  In terms of damage output, it's great, but really, one attack...  I know in the description it says "unchooseable randomized attack cycle", but really?  Three attacks?  I sold it about an hour after I bought it.  280,000 credits gone (Level 28 version).
The next victim was my Advanced Wolf V2.  It was the first Advanced house mech I had ever gotten.  And compared to my other mecha these days, it's horrible.  (But then, House Mecha always get left behind, even two years ago.)  I sold it for a fraction of the original price (33,900 Credits as to 339,000 Credits).

Sorry for ending abruptly, although this is a (you guessed it) a draft post from yesterday.  Today, I've (hopefully) got another post coming on the Rx for Destruction.

Some quick MQ Pictures.

There are two types of battles in MQ, mecha and energy blade.  Mecha battles are the standard type of battle.  Energy blade battles are when your character has to fight on foot, using an energy blade.

Annoying Zombies

Hello again.  ReconnaisX here.  I don't think I'm gonna rant this time.

~MQ~The Mecha That Be

As it is, MechQuest is still an entirely new game to my blog, although it's about four years old.  For all the people that don't play MQ (and know WoW), here is a noob's guide to the galaxy to the basic basics of MechQuest.
The games revolves around three-story tall robots called Mechs (or Mecha- don't ask me about singular or plural forms of the word).  Akin to Assault Gears in Knight Blade, Mechs are these robots that a person can climb into and pilot.  There are four basic aspects of a Mech that all MQ noobs should know:

1. HP- Hitpoints.  I feel like if you're reading this blog, there's no need to explain.
2. EP- Energy Points.  Sorta of like Energy or Mana or MP in other games.  It is the source of all special attacks (and heals) in most games.  However, in MechQuest, think that the mech has a battery that powers it.  When it attacks, it uses up EP.  So in MQ, EP is like an energy reserve, not just for special moves, for any attack.
3. Regen- Short for Energy Point Regeneration Rate.  After a Mech attacks (and its turn is over) it regains some energy.  The energy, of course, doesn't fully make up for the energy lost attacking.  The only way that could happen is that if you paired up a low-level weapon (that requires less energy) with a high-leveled mecha (that regenerates more energy).
4. Weapons- A Mecha has, at most, six different weapon slots.  Front Arm, Back Arm, Front Shoulder, Back Shoulder, Head, and Body.  This section should have its own post.  So more later.

That's all I feel like typing at the moment, as I haven't been on EpicDuel or Minecraft all weekend.

-In Other News-
I will stop the VTLL stories for now.  Too much effort.

A Return to the Robots

Just another Friday, you know.

~EpicDuel~ Delta 1.4.5c
Yawn.  Just new missions with today's release (and one NPC that doesn't really count).http://epicduelwiki.com/images/6/62/LightMechachillid.png
^Say hi.  (At the moment, it can only enhance.)

But I can give you a little info on them.
There are two new mission chains this week- Mama's Feast and the main storyline missions.

http://epicduelwiki.com/images/0/0e/MamasFeast.pngMama's Feast

Where to start: Brunson
Recommended Level: All
Enemies to defeat: Junker (he always gets pushed around)
Difficulty- 0/5  (That is to say, the easiest mission chain ever.  Got through it in 5 minutes.)
Rewards: Battle Tokens, Credits, Achievement (worth 500 rating points- what can I say, this chain is for low levels as well)

Infernal Infiltration Storyline Missions, Part 2

Where to start: Brunson Mirv (My bad.)
Recommended Level: I think mid-twenties.
Enemies to defeat: Talia, Anya, Selina (be prepared), Big Tuna (if you feel like a challenge), other random players
Difficulty- 1/5 (IMO, that is.)
Rewards: Last I checked, it was credits.  But I think there's more.

~MechQuest~ I Come Back to MQ

As you may already know, Artix Entertainment has a variety of games with the AE tag on it.  EpicDuel is just one of them (and it was created by Epic Inventions LLC- AE bought it).  The other (six, I think) AE games are mostly RPGs (with a few exceptions- PvP, that is, Pony vs Pony).  I've tried nearly all of the AE games, like:
DragonFable (started at 7, stopped about two years ago, don't ask why)
AdventureQuest (the graphics are horrible, I could draw better)
MechQuest (I like robots)
AdventureQuest Worlds (I consider it a seasonal game, besides, it's a fashion parade)
WarpForce (Just like AQ)
HeroSmash (What were they thinking on that one?)
PonyVsPony (Brilliant time-killer)

This section of my post is just to inform you that I've come back to MQ.  Enough said.
